What happens with the donations?

Costs of Foundation Eumind Charity Programme.  The donations go directly to REAP for  99,9%. The only costs are the annual costs for the bank account and costs for money transfer to India (transfer 2 à 3 x per year).

Operating costs REAP – Thane. REAP-Thane  gives education to 35 groups of children on 9 different levels.  E.G. in 2017 there were 835 children getting education.. Costs for REAP ± €23.000 euro per year.

Fixed charges :
- rent of class rooms
- salaries of 35 teachers
- costs for training of teachers
- 1 day per week all children get fruit.
Variable costs depend on the number of children per year and the division of the children in the different levels. The older the children the more costs for books and learning materials.
REAP finds it important that children and teachers participate in annual Indian celebrations e.g. celebration of Independence Day. Once a year they organise an excursion for the children.

From 2011 to March 2018 Eumind Charity has supported education for 3500 children in the slums of Thane thanks to fundraising of students of Eumind schools and other donations.
